Over 100 years ago, our founder, Mary Virginia Merrick, enlisted friends to
give assistance to poor infants and children living in the Washington D. C.
area.  Today, there are 40 active chapters of the Christ Child Society
nationwide continuing this labor of love for children.

Our Cleveland Chapter was organized in 1916.  We continue to provide ALL
VOLUNTEER assistance to children without any paid administrative staff.  The
Christ Child Society of Cleveland's mission is to "foster a personal love of
Christ expressing itself in service for needy children regardless of race,
color, or creed."

The Christ Child Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  It is part of a
national organization, The Christ Child Society.
